Borne by a necessity but nurtured by a belief, Safety First Records is an East-London based independent record label, conceptualised as a collective/co-operative as opposed to a company, that aims to provide a platform from which artists are able to tangibly share their music with the Ears they deserve.

Soren, Matt, John (Klak Tik) and Iara have built up Safety First in order to share knowledge, contacts and passion amongst a group of like- and musically-minded people; and subsequently those who want to hear the result.

Though remaining very particular about the artists they support, Safety First’s modus operandi for being is based on the belief that worthy music should never be impinged by the difficulties that can arise from industry constructs. We hope you enjoy.
